Why Pink? A brief history from the owner
Well, it's actually peach {so I'm told). At least it started as peach. I will be forever known as the kid that lived in the pink house. Pretty smart of my parents to pick that awful color. It was very easy to find the house and remember what business was there. Growing up in the 70's, my parents owned and operated a lawnmower shop named All Around Lawnmower. This is where I learned the fundamentals of mechanics, where I helped my dad fix things in the shop and around the house. Eventually I began to fix my own things like go-karts, minibikes, bicycles then my own cars. I owe so much to my parents for teaching me these skills but the most important lessons were about being a hard worker, respecting people and their property, being honest and putting customer satisfaction and my reputation above profits.
I went on to a technical high school, learned autobody, won shop awards and pursued that career for 8 years, I was lucky to find a great mentor who taught me auto mechanics and truck mechanics, I went on to work at a Kenworth dealership, then a dealership that sold Sterling, Ford, Pierce and International Motors. After 25 years there I have decided to go on my own as my parents did, and help get my customers back on the road with integrity.
Lastly, the phone number. My fathers 66 Chevy pick up truck had a slogan that read "and away you mow" Corny , I know. My number is an homage to that slogan.
